Our client was looking to optimize their backyard, leaving more room for gathering, along with updating the current landscape to bring in a rejuvenated look to their property.
Due to the large size of the house and the property, an existing circular driveway swings in front of the main entrance for easy access. Our client wanted give the cobblestone a makeover and for it to appear less dated. We removed, cleaned and reinstalled them by adding new pavers that blend perfectly with existing pavers and bring timeless warmth to the home.
Two majestic trees, placed between the street and the courtyard, create a transition between the public space and the private space of the house. The large size of trees also helps to reduce the grandeur of the house. In front of this residence, a beautiful flowerbed softens the facade, offering visitors a magnificent view throughout the summer season.
A new path through a beautiful arch leads the visitor to the side yard. The shed has been moved to a more discreet corner of the garden. We built a new patio with Rocvale pavers and a border similar to the driveway. Close to the dining area and lounge, we installed a fountain to promote a soothing atmosphere. Finally, we had redone the pool patio to match the rest of the landscape.
This landscape design and execution gives value to this beautiful property and will allow the owner to fully soak in the warm Montreal months.
